Tips To Micromanage Your Adwords Campaign

by Brian Basch

Advertisements are all around us. They are all filling our ears with the breathtaking profits that can be made with Adwords, when you use this tool to sell your products. The most incredible thing is the fact that it only takes 2-3 hours per day.

However don’t be fooled, few people can conduct their business working only 2-3 hours a day. In reality there is so much to do that these sort of hours are just a dream, especially for new entrepreneurs. In reality a Google Adword campaign takes more careful micro-management than most promotions.

Bear in mind a few points. Your initial keywords will be found by using Google’s database of frequently searched keywords. Then you will compile a second list of keywords that you think are relevant to your business. Then you will compare the 2 lists.

Now that you have all your keywords ready, it is time to begin bidding on them. Of course just writing an email to Google asking their permission to use a keyword in exchange for a fee is not going to work. Google has a better way of handling this. Google will place ads in certain positions, those that are in the top will be viewed more and will obviously bring in better returns for both celebrations.

Adwords is a type of pay per click. Whenever somebody clicks through on your ad you will pay a small fee. You will be paying even if you don’t make any sales. Google will make more money when the click through rate is high. The better the bid the higher the ad’s position.

After you’ve completed the bidding procedure and you ad is functioning, pay special attention to your keywords. Remember that keyword popularity can come and go. What’s popular this day might not be popular a month or so from now. Keywords that are unpopular won’t bring in the traffic and sales.

You may not become a millionaire by working on your Google Adwords campaign for just few hours per day. However you will become an expert at multi tasking and micromanaging your campaign. As you learn more you will very likely find that Adwords will indeed bring in profits for your business.

In order to acquire expertise in micromanagement, you should use all the great tools and tutorials that are provided by Google Adwords. By this means you will spend less hours on your campagns and find more time to market your business.
