I have been living pretty comfortably with online survey money for almost two years now.
Though there are many many online survey scams floating around in the Internet, with proper guidance, one can still make very good online survey profit. I was there, so trust me.
Imagine this… you get up for work whenever you want. Instead of getting dressed in that stuffy suit, driving through rush hour traffic to your office, then dealing with kissing up to your almighty boss and trying very hard to ignore your co-workers all day, you can now stay in your pajamas and go to work on your computer, with nice music at the background.
In addition, you can get good pay without much work. You just need to provide your personal opinion.
The companies running these paid online surveys want to know your views bad enough to pay you for them, so you can work until you want to quit and pocket the money along the way. Doesn’t this sound too good then to be true?
The online survey benefits sound too good to be true because most of them really are too good to be true.
There are literally hundreds of so call paid online survey sites floating around on the internet, mainly because it is really a scam that is so easy to propagate and often promises the scammer pretty easy money (and definitely more money than the people completing the online surveys).
Here’s how the online survey scams work typcially: you see a job posting in a classifieds ad or after a internet search which promises real easy money, a flexible work hour schedule, and allows you to work from home anytime and anywhere you want.
“Why, this sounds good!” you said. “Isn’t this exactly what I’ve been looking for!”
You go to the company’s website and find that the company connects you with paid online surveys which you get to complete the survey at your leisure.
One small catch though – you need to pay a one-time registration fee of $30-$100 to join the survey program. Well, the survey promises that you’ll be able to work off this payment in no time, so it’s really not a big deal.
However, once you pay your fee and join the program, you’ll probably have a feeling that you’ve been had.
Once in the program you’ll receive a number of frequent emails or offers for surveys, or perhaps just a long list of websites that supposedly offer paid online surveys.
Often, the list will be out of date, and the surveys you completed won’t pay you to take the survey. Instead, most will offer you a chance to win money or a gift for completing the survey, which is pretty useless.
You can email the company to demand for payment but you will not receive any response from them. They have moved on to scam other victims.
So be careful of these survey scams. There are however, real survey website that pay well and fairly, you just need to find one.
After all, such home based business does provide a nice 2nd income for most of us.
