There’s no point in building a Web site unless you have visitors coming in. One of the main sources of traffic on the majority of sites on the World wide web is search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Altavista, etc.. Therefore, try to design a search engine friendly site, you can easily rank in the search engines and get more visitors.

Major search engines use programs called crawlers or robots to index websites to list on their search result pages. They follow links to a page, reads the content of the page and record it in their own database, pulling up the listing as people search for it.

If you want to make your site easily indexed, it must avoid using frames on your site. Frames only confuse the robots search engines and they might even leave your site because of that. In addition, frameworks make it difficult for users to bookmark a specific page of your site without using long, complicated scripts.

Not present important information in the Flash movies or photos. The robots search engines can only read text at its source so if present important words into images and Flash movies rather than textual form, your search engine ranking will be affected dramatically.

Use meta tags accordingly in each and every page of your site so that the robots of search engines know what, at first glance, it is particularly the website and if the index. Using metatags, which is making the robot search engine of jobs so that they are easier to crawl and index your site more often.

Stop using false HTML tags like style to your page. Use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) instead because they’re more efficient and effective. Using CSS, you can remove the HTML tags of your pages and make much lighter and faster to load.
