Pick Up Lines That Work
Some pick up lines are unbecoming, boring and rude.
For example how often have you heard bad pick up lines such as:
“Are you a parking ticket? Because you’re a tiny fine!”
“Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?”
“Your daddy must have been a thief, because he stole the stars and put them in your eyes.”
Face it, using lines like this will cause a girl to run the other way. Pick up lines like these make you look like an idiot.
But because the bad pick up lines get so much attention, people think ALL pick up lines are like this.
And this just isn’t true.
Using good pick up lines actually assist you in picking up a woman.
The true point in using pick up lines is to start a conversation.
PERIOD.
Once you get the girl talking with you, then you can work your magic and do what you need to do to get the date, the phone number, or the make-out.
But if you can’t get the conversation started, then you can do anything else!
You want something more that just talking to a woman; you want to engage her in a good conversation. Drawing her into your conversation is the only means of continuing your relationship journey.
And guess what? A good pick up line will do that!
It is natural to be nervous when going out to meet women, being unsure what to say; however, most often you miss your chance to meet a good woman, simply because it takes to long to think up something to say.
This is why you should know a couple of good working pick up lines. Situations like these might hinder you from being original and you need something to help you get the ball rolling.
But don’t be fooled into thinking you can get away with a line like:
“Don’t I know you from somewhere?”
This is lame pick up line and women know it, this is not a clever pick up line and makes you look bad.
Other unimpressive pick up lines include complimenting a woman on her clothing, asking for directions and telling her she looks like a movie star.
Why?
These lines do not engage the woman, since once she answers you; the conversation has nowhere to go.
Avoid pick up lines that have yes and no answers. Good pick up lines get a woman to consider her reply, while inducing an emotional reaction, which encourages her to continue talking with you.
How do you engage a woman in conversation?
The easiest way is to ask her view about something. Every woman has strong views, and they aren’t afraid to share them! (Particuarly when they come to relationships!)
Good pick up lines work like this, for example. Say something to the woman, like this, Hi, I need you view on something, do you think it is normal for a woman to try to time a pregnancy so that her baby is born within a particular zodiac sign? I would really like to hear the view of a woman about this subject.
Once you engage her in the conversation you might follow up with a tale of some woman who wants to be sure she and her children are astrologically compatible, to make life a bit more enjoyable as life moves along.
This can lead to various other topics of conversation, such as:
1. Relationships 2. Astrology 3. Marriage 4. Pregnancy 5. Kids
The places you can go with this type of line are limitless. Here are some of my favorite follow-ups.
“Do you believe in astrology?” (this can lead into discussions of fate and destiny)
“What is your sign?” (No matter what she says – be sure to mention your sign is compatible with hers!)
“Do you like children? You seem like the nurturing type.”
I could go on, but you should get the idea.
So as you can see, this pick up line is designed to pull the girl into a deep and interesting conversation, and gives you the chance to get to know her better and allow her to become familiar with you.
This is how you engage a woman in conversation.
From that point, it should be rather easy to ask her for a telephone number and possibly set up a first date.
